Tri-Cities Amateur Hockey Assocation (TCAHA)'s mission is to encourage and promote participation and growth of amateur ice hockey in the Tri-Cities area.
To develop and encourage sportsmanship and wholesome competition among all participants for the betterment of their physical, mental and social well-being.
To affiliate with the Pacific Northwest Amateur Hockey Association (PNAHA) and USA Hockey; and to support the goals and objectives of these organizations; and further, to abide by the rules and regulations of these organizations. TCAHA Board meetings are now the second MONDAY of each month at the TRAC main building @ 6:30pm. OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM TCAHA BOARD We are pleased to announce TCAHA has contracted with Carrie Hay and Andrea Tullos to fill the role left by Lori Holloman and to assume the role of Ice Scheduler and Webmaster, among other duties. Both Carrie and Andrea bring a wealth of experience into the organization and administration of professional organizations, communication, website creation/management, contract administration and drafting grant requests. Our goal is to build a profesional and well organized association to benefit all of our members and we feel confident that Carrie and Andrea will help us accomplish that goal.
In other news, Wayne Moore has resigned as Vice President of TCAHA due to changing and increasing job commitments. Wayne has dedicated much of his time to the association in his role as Vice President and we appreciate all of his contributions.
John Landefeld has agreed to fill the role of Vice President and Tim Kelly will be joining the board to fill the Director position vacated by John. Both positions will be held by John and Tim until the next regularly scheduled election.
The following coaches have been selected to lead our Rep teams for the upcoming 08-09 season: - Squirt: Craig Jenne
- Pee Wee: Dale Hollandsworth
- Bantam: Terry Liikala
- Midget: Nate Coppock
Thank you to all of the Rep coach applicants and the coaching committee for their hard work during the selection process.
We are in the process in collecting House and, if required, lower tiered coaches and will be scheduling interviews over the next few weeks for the upcoming season, please contact Terry Liikila for information. |
